Venue: Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India
Register NowThe International Conference on Perspectives in Vibrational Spectroscopy (ICOPVS) has emerged as the most significant international conference on Vibrational and Raman Spectroscopy held biennially in India. It serves as a dynamic academic platform that brings together internationally renowned research professionals and enthusiastic students from across the globe.
Founded in 2006 at CCS Meerut University, ICOPVS was initiated by a dedicated group of Indian and international vibrational spectroscopy professionals, led by Prof. Wolfgang Kiefer (Germany) and Prof. Vinod Rastogi (India). Since then, the conference has gained global recognition, attracting a diverse community of spectroscopists, including researchers, scientists, medical professionals, engineers, instrumentation developers, and students from universities, research institutes, government agencies, and industries.
ICOPVS provides an exceptional platform to discuss cutting-edge technologies, novel research ideas, and advancements in vibrational spectroscopy. Over the years, the conference has expanded its scope, incorporating emerging areas such as vibrational spectroscopy under extreme thermodynamic conditions and synchrotron- and neutron-based vibrational spectroscopy. It fosters collaborative interactions between young researchers and leading experts, offering a valuable opportunity to broaden scientific perspectives and research capabilities.
The 11th ICOPVS-2026, which will be hosted at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi - 221 005, India, is going to mark a major milestone in the global scientific mission for vibrational and Raman spectroscopy research excellence. The conference will feature plenary talks, invited talks, contributed talks, and poster presentations, with awards recognizing outstanding professionals, young scientists, and poster contributions.
As we move toward the 100-year celebration of Raman Spectroscopy in 2030, ICOPVS continues to play a crucial role in shaping the future of vibrational and Raman spectroscopy through scientific innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence.
